(see Circular.) Compare this picture with that on page 9. This was taken on June 25 1863. On left is seen the roof of old Francis House A (also called "The White House"). On right is concrete building, Greenhouse and a bit of old "tool" house. Taken from top of old Livery Barn (which shows in righ of the group on page 37. On the barns see also Dr. Cragin's notes on page 13.) Probably the foot path at the front of this picture crossed the drive (as it did in my youth) where the remnant of it left does now, at the foot of the hill.
