- E 1822, Oct. 27 Sermon written by E. R. and delivered at Southington CT. Also delivered at three other churches, including the Andover Chapel. Text based upon Matthew 16:26.
- 1822, Oct. 27, p.m. Southington, CT. Text: Matt 16:26, "For what if a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, & lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" 13 folios, with a slip of paper inserted between folios 6 and 7 for an additional point that E. R. wished to make in his sermon. This sermon was delivered again on at least three other occasions, listed below: 1822, Dec. 15 a.m. Andover Chapel; 1823, Feb. 9 p.m. Andover S. P.; Oct. 12 New Haven, Middle Conn.
