Item note: Signed by approximately 256 former French inhabitants of Grenada, which was taken in 1762 by the British and formally ceded in 1763.Cazaud de Roumillac's part in the struggles of the French Catholic population of Grenada for political representation is recounted in The Grenada Planter: or, A Full and Impartial Answer to a Letter in the Gazetteer Of October 22, 1768.
