Middlesex Spinster... are true Copies..." signed "Chas: Pinfold"On the matter and consequences of a defective mortgage on a Barbados sugar plantation formerly owned by Samuel Broome, whose widow Susanna Brome, executrix Hillary Broome, and heir William Brome, are involved. Petition was dismissed and the request for appeal denied.Phillipps Ms. 25652.Handler (Supplement, p. 11) cites two documents dated 1741 which appeared in Henry Stevens' catalogue Rare Americana (London, 1927, p. 529) concerning this case. Sir John Eyles was the claimant at that date.
