Includes entries written at: Camp Morris, Md.; Fort Franklin, Md.; Camp Huntington; Fort Baker, D.C.; camp at Calhouns Point, Va.; Yorktown; and camp at Julians Creek, Va. Foster was from Verona, New York and was of the Hamilton College class of 1861.
