Letters [in German] from Carl Ritter, 1850 to 1852
L-4 1851, May 6 Letter to "Herr Dr. und Professor Reverend E. Robinson in New York" from Prof. C. Ritter in Berlin. Written in German but the handwriting is very legible and very different from Ritter's other letters and presumably was dictated to someone else who wrote the letter for him. Refers to the Dead Sea expedition and to published materials pertaining to the area of E. R.'s explorations.
