L-7 1841, Oct. 6 Richard H. Dana of Boston to E. R. in New York. Thanks him for helping to find a publisher for his son's book [Two Years Before the Mast]. Also states that he is negotiating a new and enlarged edition of his own book. Found out that such a work would not sell in London at the present time and therefore Murray would not publish it. Sends greetings to Mrs. Robinson.
