K-2 1863, Jan. 26 Document granting Power of Attorney to Edward Robinson Jr. This document shows E. R. made several attempts to sign his name, but he was unable to write anything more than the first letter "E." Ultimately he made the sign of a cross (+), beside which another hand has written "his mark." The document was executed in the presence of Mary A. Robinson and Philip Seaman [?].
