Description: Handwritten on back: "Shaker Village, N.H. 1 Aug '74. Dear Friend Morgan, Elder Henry wishes me to write that it will not be convenient for a company to be with you next Sabbath, on account of its being in hayeing time when it is important to have all hands [and] horses at home [and] neither can well be spared. He is willing to come on the following Sabbath [and] I dare say it will not make much difference with your folks. Unless we hear from you to the contrary, we shall make calculations to be with you on Sunday 16th Aug: I will attend to the advertising and giving notice. Yours faithfully JN Hurtly?"
