From a "group of 12 copy prints of Sabbathday Lake scenes taken by Brother Delmer Wilson (1873-1961). Br. Delmer was an excellent photographer and left behind a large number of glass plate negatives. This grouping was printed by Br. Delmer from his glass plates in the 1950's. Sr. Mildred Barker has written in pencil information on the backs of most of the photos. These images were given to author Martin Dibner who was going to write a book on the Shakers. He eventually gave the lot to Marius Peladeau who sold them to us. Included are images of Sabbathday Lake buildings and people. Also images of visitors from Hancock, Canterbury, and Mt. Lebanon."--Slip included in collection.
