This picture has less foreground than picture 16, and shows only buildings of the Church Family, beginning with the blacksmith shop on the south side of the Trustees' Office. (See David Starbuck's Canterbury Shaker Village: Archeology and Landscape, page 2.). -- Photographs mounted on light peach-beige colored card. Bottom card edge is slightly worn. The pictures are in good condition and well defined, although there is spotting in the sky area of the pictures. On the back upper right corner in ink is written 1-K. Opposite the word "Shaker" on the back is 1891, with the one in a circle. No. 2 has a light underline; however, a dark line underscores number 9, extending across the back of the card. The latter is without merit.
