Inscriptions: This photograph was made looking south from the roof of the North Family Great Stone Barn (1859-60). The buildings in the foreground are those of the North family including the Granary (1838) in the front center with the cupola, to its immediate left is the family Wood House (1854) and behind it the Second Dwelling (1835). On the left edge of the photograph is the large North Family Dwelling (1818) and on the right the family's Farm Deacon's Office (enlarged 1856). The cupola of the Granary was removed in 1873 so the photograph dates before that date.
