Printed: TWO SISTERS OF THE SHAKER SETTLEMENT; Sister Adelaide and Sister Sarah of the Shaker Settlement as Mt. Lebanon, New York. Sister Adelaide is wearing the Shaker dress and hat which is now worn only on Sundays and holidays. The goods were woven at Mt. Lebanon, the straw of which the hat is made was grown on the farm. Every part of the costume is a product of the industries at the settlement. Sister Adelaide takes charge of the dairy and makes the butter, which is sold in Pittsfield. Sister Sarah runs a little shop; most of the articles for sale are the products of Mt. Lebanon;
