Q 1824, Sept. 8 Copy of a letter sent to Gideon Mills in Hudson, Ohio from William Robinson of Southington, CT with inquiry about the "Plot of the Land" in a nearby town, which Robinson purchased from Linius Tuttle in 1818. Robinson explains that the lots located in Twinsburg are near Hudson and therefore Mills should be able to answer the eleven questions he has posed. Robinson also indicates that he is interested in purchasing lots 3 and 6 from Tuttle. At the time of his original purchase of lots 1, 2, 7, and 8, lot 3 was held conditionally for two young men to purchase. Robinson asks if the men ever exercised their option to buy. Opening line of the letter mentions that the Robinson and Mills families had had much correspondence over the years.
