Cinnamon Hill Estate. Autograph letter signed from A. Nisbet, agent on Tobago, to Alexander Reid, Scotland, describing his brother's affairs in the Court of Common Pleas. He gives details of the sugar crop and claims by his brother's creditors. Also a list of Negroes on Cinnamon Estate, July 1821, including about 75 indiviudals with comments on births and deaths. On verso of list are lists of cattle and mules. August 9, 1821. 3 pp. letter, 2 pp. list, 25 cm.

Col. Martin's proposals for surrender of his lease of Barbuda. Addressed to "Sir William Codrington Baront at Langton near Blandford Dorsetshire, recd. Oct. 11: 1756. In a secretarial hand, this is a complete inventory of stock and slaves of Martin's plantations on Barbuda, near Antigua. Martin was author of An essay upon plantership humbly inscribed to his Excellency, GeorgeThomas, Esq. 7pp., folio.
