Manuscript "List of supplies wanted fro Three Mill River Estate for Crop 1818 to be shipped under mark T/EEG and landed at Savannah la Mar Wharf Westmorland." A fascinating list of about 140 items ordered in Scotland for outfitting a Jamaican sugar estate for one year, the list being sent on the ship Ann Grant, Captain Cameron. Twenty-two items are "For Negroes", and include 18 dozen hats for men, women and children,; linens, blankets, needles and thread, hoes, knives, falling axes, as well as "90 Barrels Herrings, 2 Barrels Cargo Pork, 2 Puncheons Oatmeal, 4 Doz. Port Wine." Followed by 27 items for "Overseers House", then items for the works, carpenters, coopers, blacksmiths, and a long list of medicines. Wax seal hole in blank part of address-leaf. Jamaica, April 1817. Ship letter, 2 pp (double column) 4to + integral address-leaf addressed to John Graham of Gartur in Stirling, Scotland. 20.5 cm x 24.5 cm
